SHARE has been working in Angola
for the last six years. In the presence of a humanitarian catastrophe
as a result of a prolonged war in Angola, SHARE teamed up with Church
of the Brethren through the Brethren Service Center, the Church
World Service, CARE Angola, a number of churches, universities and
several individuals to send emergency humanitarian aid to Angola.
SHARE is a humanitarian, relief, agricultural, developmental, de-mining
and mine awareness agency working in countries emerging from conflicts.
SHARE is committed to:
- Promoting economic development and self-reliance
- Improving health and education
- Providing relief to disaster victims
- Assisting orphans and widows of war, single mothers and internally
displaced people
- Advancing human rights
- Protecting the environment
- Disseminating information about anti-personnel land mines in
Angola
SHAREcircle helps save lives, create economic opportunities, restore
hope and forge a better tomorrow for the orphans of war, single
mothers, widows of war, internally displace people and refugees.
SHARE focuses on work in Angola and responds to the needs of the
most disadvantaged through its emergency and development programs.
