Dear Friend of SHARE,

As time wears on, in spite of incredible technological discoveries and efforts of good men and women to make earth a better place to live in, it seems that humanity is still being haunted by the same problems that have been there since the beginning of time. Wars, hunger, illnesses of various kinds, poverty, among other problems, claim several lives everyday all over the world.

Having been born and grown up in a country (Angola) that has known almost nothing else but war for the last several years, I can strongly share with you that war should be avoided by all means. War tragically terminates one of the most precious things in this earth: life.

Kuito City

War destroys infrastructures and it worsens other existing problems. War tears people from their home and loved ones. War affects everybody, even if you think you far away from it. September 11, 2001, and its outcomes is one of the latest examples.

It would be fare to say that human induced catastrophes have been claiming more lives than natural catastrophes. However, it is also comforting to know that people and organizations either working or advocating for love for one another, peace, justice, fairness, and compassion are found all over. All of you, friends of SHARE, are part of this noble cause.

School kits distributions

Without our caring family of donors, we could not have accomplished the work God has entrusted us, the work of speaking for the voiceless, providing food for the hungry, clothing the naked, providing health kits and school kits to the children, crisis assistance… and more!

I hope you feel great satisfaction in knowing that your support, in combination with those of other caring people who share their skills and resources, helps us provide these blessings to thousands of orphans of war, single mothers, widows of war, internally displaced people and other war-affected families in Angola.

We thank you for becoming a partner in our ministry and we can assure you that your support does make a difference! We are looking forward for your continued support.

Many blessings to you,

Guerra Freitas
President
